Cedar Cladding
The observable parts of our Modern Garden Rooms are finished in solid Cedar wood cladding with an aluminium trim at roof level to match windows and doors and prevent rain damage to the wood.
The non-visible areas is finished in a natural, solid treated, sheep lap cladding.
Aluminium Doors and Windows
We use thermally protected sliding door that has multipoint locking, high thermal ratings and is also available in a dual paint finish.
The doors we use are designed to bring the outdoors in and complement and enhance your living space. The contemporary, stylishness features with increased glass size optimize a door’s viewing range.
Tough, hinged, French doors or lift and slide doors are combined with the best weather sealing and thermal performances next to a wide range of safety solutions. Different profile designs or aluminium panel doors allow you to create your own customised garden room design.
Walls, Floor and Roof Insulation
Choosing the right insulation for your project is a vital step in creating a Modern Garden Room which is comfortable, energy efficient and environmentally sustainable.
Walls are built with two layers of thermally efficient insulation, the first layer is 50mm thermally efficient foil faced rigid insulation, and the second layer is 100mm high density and acoustically sound Earthwool Insulation.
Our floor insulation is genuine energy efficient sheets that meet Ireland’s building regulation requirements.
It has 100mm thermally efficient foil faced rigid under floor insulation, and the ceiling has 150mm high thermal and acoustically effective, Earthwool Insulation with 62mm rigid Insulated Plasterboard.
This ensures Modern Garden Rooms have an enduring, superior level of sustainability and warmth.
