Cladding

Solid cedar, built to weather

The visible parts of every room are finished in solid cedar cladding with an aluminium trim at roof level to match the windows and doors. Non-visible areas use a natural, solid treated shiplap cladding.

Glazing

Thermally broken aluminium

Thermally protected sliding doors with multipoint locking, high thermal ratings and a dual paint finish — designed to bring the outdoors in. Hinged French or lift-and-slide doors pair the best weather sealing with a wide range of safety glazing.

Insulation

Warm, quiet, year-round

Walls carry two layers of thermally efficient insulation; floors use 100mm foil-faced rigid insulation, and ceilings 150mm of high-thermal, acoustic Earthwool. The result is an A-rated, energy-efficient room that’s genuinely comfortable all year.

Finish

Plastered & ready

Every Modern Garden Room is finished to a high standard with skimmed plasterboard, ready for you to decorate and move straight into your chosen activity.
